Top Best Water Flossers in 2020

Have you been told by your dentist or dental hygienist that you could benefit from a water flosser? As a dental hygienist, I find myself recommending this device to nearly all my patients. So here at at Toothbrush Life, we have compiled a list of all of the best water flossers in 2020.

Not a fan of flossing with regular string floss? Well that rings true for nearly everyone. Flossing is incredibly important to oral health. No matter how well or how many times you brush your teeth, you just can’t clean efficiently in between your teeth without flossing.

Check out this article on the benefits of flossing and why it needs to be incorporated into your daily oral hygiene routine. Some of the facts may surprise you. For instance, did you know that if you don’t floss, you are only cleaning not even 2/3 of your teeth?

Now while I would never suggest throwing away your trusty string floss, I highly recommend adding a water flosser to your daily hygiene routine. Water flossers are great flossing alternatives. They are devices that spray water bursts through your teeth and gums.

Point the tip along your gum line and in between teeth. The water bursts through flushing out all that nasty gunk, food, debri and bacteria. It feels AMAZING. A whole nother’ type of clean. While I could go on and on about these, I will just let you read about it. Here is a link to this article all about the benefits of water flossing .

This device can solve many dental problems such as gum bleeding, gum swelling, bad breath, and tooth decay. They also aid in treating gum diseases such as gingivitis and periodontal disease.

So without further ado, here are our picks for….

BEST WATER FLOSSERS for 2020

1.ToothShower

Ranking in the number one spot is the ToothShower. Y’all this is the coolest flossing device! It hooks right up to your shower. Less mess and an endless water supply. I picked this as number one because I really feel like this is the one device that people will use. You are already wet in the shower and it is right in front of you. It is too easy. See the full review in this ToothShower review.

2. Waterpik Cordless Water Flosser Rechargeable Portable Oral irrigator for Travel & Home – Cordless Advanced, Wp-560

Buy it HERE on Amazon

Ranking in at number 2 for best water flosser is the number one most trusted brand for water flossers. The waterpik.

I really probably should have named the article best waterpiks intstead. The fact is, most people refer to all water flossers as a waterpik. This is simply because the brand is such a household name that people assume that is what they are actually called.

I chose this particular waterpik (Waterpik Cordless Water Flosser Rechargeable Portable Oral irrigator for Travel & Home – Cordless Advanced, Wp-560) because I personally have it and absolutely LOVE it. I have the regular counter top version as well (ranked #3 best waterpik) but the cordless option is personally my cup of tea.

I do not care for clutter or big things on my sink so this cordless water flosser is my number one best water flosser pick.

Waterpik Cordless Water Flosser Features:

Cons:

  1. Due to this model being a cordless version, you may have to fill it up a few times during use. In my opinion though, it only takes a second and is worth not having the bulkier countertop version.
  2. Less settings and slightly less PSI than the countertop version. I personally find it plenty strong and settings adequate to use though.
